Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Farm Operations
Runs the cropping and livestock enterprises on the home farm and leased country, from sowing and harvest to lambing, shearing, animal health and cattle sales, and keeps the paddock, livestock and chemical records that underpin traceability and quality assurance.
Horticulture and Nursery
Propagates and grows native tubestock, ornamental plants and advanced trees, manages the stone fruit orchard, and receives, prepares and dispatches plant orders to retail, council and revegetation customers to nursery industry accreditation standards.
Parks and Landscape Services
Maintains council parks, reserves, streetscapes and sports grounds under contract and builds residential and commercial landscapes, managing crews, plant, work orders, facility inspections and client relationships from the Bendigo region depot.
Conservation and Land Management
Delivers revegetation, direct seeding, native seed collection, weed and pest animal control and ecological monitoring for catchment groups, landholders and government programs, working with Traditional Owners and applying strict site biosecurity.
Irrigation, Chemicals and Plant
Manages the irrigation systems, the chemical store and spray program, and the fleet of tractors, sprayers, mowers, quad bikes and landscape plant across all sites, including pre-start checks, servicing, calibration and operator competency records.
Business, Safety and Compliance
Provides finance, people, WHS, biosecurity, environmental compliance, document control and contract administration for the whole business, and runs the monthly safety and environment review that tracks incidents and corrective actions to closure.
